Forgotten World Adventures are proud supporters of the Taumarunui Women's Refuge & Support Centre, which provides vital support and services in the community in which we operate. Shockingly, according to recent statistics, New Zealand is ranked as the worst developed country in the OECD for family violence - something we would like to help change. Join us and some special guests for our inaugural Ride for Refuge fundraiser event and jump on board to help promote awareness of this extremely worthy cause. 

Package includes:

• Shuttle bus from Taumarunui to Tokirima Station
• Rail-side lunch at Tokirima
• 4 hour guided rail cart journey, with stops for historical context & commentary, from Tokirima to NZ's self-proclaimed Republic of Whangamomona
• Travel along 40km of the old Stratford-Okahukura Railway Line through pristinve native bush, beautiful farmland and forgotten townships
• Afternoon tea at Tangarakau Gorge
